Estero, Fla.— The Florida Jr. Blades and head coach Todd Pococke are proud to announce the return of Adam Fowler and Shane Visnick. Fowler returns for his third year with the Jr. Blades while Visnick is in his sophomore season.

Fowler joined the Jr. blades during the 2012-13 season from the Tampa Bay Juniors. Fowler was a critical member of of the 2013-14 championship squad and is known for his strong play and determination. “Fowler plays well beyond his size and has no fear on the ice,” said Pococke. “His work ethic is top notch and we expect him to have an even bigger season this year.”

Joining Fowler is Shane Visnick. Visnick, a native of Palm Beach, Florida, was the teams third leading scorer in 2013-14 and is described as a gritty, physical player.

“Shane Visnick is not afraid of the corners,” said Pococke. “He will dig in, battle it out and bury the puck.”

Visnick is expected to be a leading contributor on the Jr. Blades when he makes his season debut. “Both Fowler and Visnick bring experience and work ethic to our team,” said Pococke. “Their leadership and example will help the new players and continue to strengthen our roster.”
